It took me about 3 hours but I finally finished it. Finally, I decided one day that I would run through and do it and I wasn't leaving until I finished it. Each time I would go, I would either get invited to run Mara and not finish it or I would get ganked by 60 hordies repeatedly to the point that I would give up and try later. I had been trying to do it since level 46 or so. Be sure to click altar and the statue in the middle of the pool to complete the quests.Комментарий от ThottbotI didn't get around to do doing this quest untill I was 53-54. There are a lot of mobs all around the pool looking to intimidate you but you'll find that Blizzard only hired them for their looks. The easy way to do this is to hop down and clear the three mobs in the middle of the pool before activating the last statue to give yourself plenty of space, then make your way back up to activate it. especially if you have some lower levels with you. This isn't so much a knock back as you'll land only a few feet from where you started, however having a group of five flying around in such a tight space can get tedious really fast. One of his abilities is knocking you way up in the air. He does wander over to the stairs by the altar and it is possible to pull and tank him on the stairs without pulling anything else however you'll be really tight on space. However, if you look down you'll notice there are already plenty of other mobs down there with him. Upon activating the last statue Atal'alarion will spawn in the middle of the pool of water below. The activation order is as follows with 2 being the statue above the altar: You can see the room below from the landings with the statues if you get confused and need to reorient yourself (also, I have my view settings all the way up but I couldn't see the altar from the farthest statue and vice versa, don't panic you didn't break anything). The best way I've found to do this is to clear the ring, then go into each landing in order and activate the statues. This will bring you to the Hall of Serpents, the ring with the statues that you need to activate in the correct order. Take them out, step around the corner and you will see another fork with stairs going up and down, go down.
In front of you there will be a fork, take the left side which should be guarded by an Atal'ai Witch Doctor and a Unliving Atal'ai or some other combination. The right stairs lead down to the altar but ignore them for now. If you turn 90 degrees to the immediate left and right of the entrance there will be spiral stairs going up and down respectively. Upon entering the Sunken Temple you'll be able to choose one of four directions.
In theory you're supposed to go down here first to click the alter and learn the order to activate the statues, but I'm going to give you the order to do them so don't worry about that yet. You will need to use this Altar to complete both of these quests, however before you can complete them you need to activate the statues on the level above in the correct order to set the next part of the quest in motion and summon the boss Atal'alarion. On the bottom of the Sunken Temple is the Altar of Hakkar. I'm going to post this on both quest pages. This is understandable because Blizzard seems to have gone out of their way to make both the quests and the instance the quests are in as confusing as possible. Again, hope this helps.Ĭomentario de RanadicusThere is understandably a lot of confusion surrounding the Into the Depths and Secret of the Circle quests. Hope this helps some and if you are on the Twisting Nether server, you are more than welcome to message me (Bishah) with any questions, whether it pertains to this quest or not. And since I'm currently working on the Gahz'ridian quest, make sure that you have the supplied helmet on when you are running around looking for the Gahz'ridian things, they are just mounds of sand and will appear on your minimap at random when you are wearing the helmet thingy that Marvon will give you. Yes, it's a chain quest, so I assume you can't skip any parts in the chain. Comentario de ThottbotYou have to go to Camp Mojache in Feralas and get the quest from the witchdoctor to talk to Marvon Rivetseeker in Tanaris(not sure if you have to do any quests first to get to this quest, but I'm pretty sure you don't), Marvon is south of Gadget at the Broken Pillar(I think it's called) he will give you the Gahz'ridian(again, I think it's called) quest, which, from my understanding you must complete in order to get this quest.
